Our training will teach you how to:
- Prepare for your appraisals professionally.
- Conduct them effectively and in a way that motivates your colleagues.
- Enhance your colleagues’ independence and performance.
- Learn how to get pleasure and satisfaction out of your appraisals.
What you will learn
Understand an appraisal’s role in the motivation and performance of employees.
Identify the criteria that need to be met for an appraisal to boost motivation and performance.
Prepare for the appraisal:
- Gather information for an objective, constructive appraisal.
- Prepare for your appraisal (skills, attitude, behaviour).
- Make sure that your colleagues are well prepared.
Conduct the appraisal effectively in a way that motivates your colleague:
- Clarify your own and your colleague’s expectations.
- Encourage a constructive two-way dialogue.
- Allow concerns to be raised thanks to KID© feedback.
- Draw up realistic, clearly defined action plans.
- Try to find win-win solutions.
Improve long-term engagement and performance with ongoing appraisals.
Tackle difficult situations:
- Negative behaviours.
- Disagreements.
- Avoidance etc.
Avoid the traps and encourage engagement.
Prepare your action plan.

Anyone; no prerequisites.

Recommended duration: 1 day of training.
