    The Trainer – Jean-Luc Dupont

The Process Communication® training programme will be led by Jean-Luc Dupont.

Jean-Luc is a certified Process Com trainer with extensive experience. He has developed a teaching approach that enables participants to quickly gain an overall understanding of Process Com®, while allowing as much time as possible for exercises and practical applications.

Passionate about how people function, he has developed two strengths that are widely recognised wherever he works:

    • Explaining personality types in a clear and engaging way, using examples that resonate with everyone.

    • Building bridges between people so they understand one another better and collaborate in a more constructive and effective way.
Jean-Luc Dupont - leadership trainer for managers

His approach goes beyond theory. Jean-Luc places a strong emphasis on practical exercises. He does not simply want participants to discover their profile; he wants them to experience it, to take ownership of it, and to see the range of possibilities it can open up.

What makes our Process Com® training truly distinctive

    A dynamic and participative approach

The training is built around practical scenarios, interactive activities, and shared discussions based on real-life experiences.

We take the time to address the many questions that naturally arise when discovering Process Com®. It is a rich and engaging space, where every question is welcome.

    Immediate practical application

Understanding personality types is a first step. Knowing how to use this understanding in everyday situations is what truly makes the difference.

The programme follows a clear and structured progression, designed to help participants quickly develop an overall understanding of Process Com®, before moving on to practical exercises and direct links with real situations experienced by the group.

A strong focus on exploring each type in depth

It can happen that the answers given in the initial questionnaire do not fully reflect a person’s actual type. This is why type validation is never based solely on test results.

We guide each participant through a series of discussions and exercises to help them identify their profile accurately.

This level of precision requires rigour and experience. It is grounded in over 20 years of practice and ongoing professional development, reflecting the high standards we are committed to delivering.

Clear and precise answers to your questions

Our extensive experience in Process Communication® training enables us to shed light on a wide range of topics.

Feel free to come with your questions—we take real pleasure in answering them with clarity and accuracy.

A training programme shaped around your objectives

The content is tailored to your specific expectations.

A preliminary discussion allows us to clearly understand your needs, so we can respond to them as effectively as possible.

      FAQ about Process Com®

The terms “Process Com®”, “Process Communication®” and “Process Communication Model®” all refer to the same model, developed by Taibi Kahler, and are therefore synonymous.

Likewise, “Process Com® training”, “Process Communication® training” and “Process Communication Model® training” are identical in terms of content, objectives and teaching approach.

Process Com® is a model for understanding personality types and communication. It was developed by Dr Taibi Kahler at the request of NASA, based on his psychotherapy model: the Process Therapy Model®.

This model describes six personality types, their communication styles and ways of functioning, their Psychological Needs for constructive and effective functioning, and their patterns of dysfunction under stress.

These personality types are acquired; they develop in response to our life experiences in our very early years. Process Com® has its roots in Transactional Analysis.

Process Com® helps people gain a better understanding of themselves and others, and adapt their communication to different personality types. Used in many professional contexts, PCM helps people function constructively, build constructive communication and collaboration, motivate effectively, and manage stressful situations.

By following this link, you will find more information about Process Com®.

Process Com® offers two key advantages:

      • Remarkable ease of use and very practical tools.
It is probably one of the models (if not the model) that can be applied most easily to encourage positive responses, both in oneself and in others. It is effective both when people are communicating positively and when they are “under stress”.

      • Unlike most other personality typologies, it is easier to identify the personality profile of someone who is “under stress” (that is, who is “dysfunctioning” and communicating negatively). The model is specifically designed to help these individuals return to a positive and constructive state.

This unique combination – practical tools and the ability to understand others in stressful situations – makes it a powerful lever for improving the quality of relationships.

At the end of the Process Com® training, you will be able to:

      • Take care of yourself so you can communicate in a positive and constructive way
      • Identify the Process Com® profile of your interlocutors
      • Recognise the needs your interlocutors must have met to feel comfortable and communicate constructively
      • Communicate in a way that encourages positive and constructive responses from others

You will practise through hands-on exercises to develop your ability to create a constructive atmosphere of cohesion.

      YES:

This training establishes links between each of the six Process Com® personality types and their preferred leadership styles.

It enables managers to adapt their leadership style to each of their colleagues, helping to avoid demotivation or serious conflict.

Employees also learn how to better decode their manager’s leadership style, reducing the risk of relational blockages.

In both cases, applying Process Com® helps stimulate constructive responses in others and supports more constructive collaboration.

One of the first things you will discover during Process Com® training is your own needs for fulfilment and stress reduction. These are known as Psychological Needs.

You will learn how to meet these needs for yourself and for others.

You will also discover the different levels of stress associated with different PCM® profiles. This will help you assess how urgently you need to act in relation to your own stress or that of others.

      Yes.

You will complete the Process Com® personality questionnaire before the training.

You will receive your results during the course, and we will answer any questions you may have.

In your Process Com® report, you will receive information about:

      • Your personality structure (your most developed type – your base),
      • The structure of your personality building (the order of your personality types, known as the order of your floors),
      • Their level of development,
      • An indication of any possible phase change – a significant personality shift that may occur during one’s lifetime,

You will also take part in various exercises (communicating in the style of a given profile, etc.). These exercises help enrich and validate the conclusions of your personality report.

You will learn how to identify the profile of your interlocutors, colleagues and close contacts.

We place particular emphasis on rules of caution and ethics:

      • Always be cautious: never impose your perception of someone’s personality on them,
      • Always start by taking care of your own communication before expecting others to make an effort.

The MBTI® is a personality typology with an innate dimension. Each of us is born with cognitive preferences, which together define a psychological type (often referred to as a personality type).

Process Com® describes acquired personality types. Each of us develops a certain profile in response to life events, upbringing and experience.

These two models are therefore complementary.

Overall, the MBTI® offers a wider range of possible applications (change, coaching and sports coaching, communication, conflict, decision-making, leadership, motivation, marketing and sales, stress management, etc.).

Process Com® provides a very simple and highly practical method for communicating effectively with all profiles, and for helping others (and oneself) manage stress and move out of unproductive communication patterns.
