A MBTI Certified Trainer and Expert Practitionner
Jean-Luc had the opportunity to be certified in MBTI® by Pierre Cauvin and Geneviève Cailloux, authors of numerous books on MBTI® and Inner Dialogue.
Through this MBTI® certification, he discovered the richness of Jung’s approach, which is less widely known than MBTI®, yet highly insightful. This approach is less familiar mainly because Jung was not a natural educator and showed little concern for making his work accessible to a wider audience.
Nevertheless, Jung’s approach is dynamic and non-stereotyping. It does not confine people to rigid categories. Instead, it explores what happens within us when we are in balance and when we are under stress. It sheds light on our path of development towards what Jung called Individuation - becoming a whole and integrated person.
Jean-Luc has always sought to become a better MBTI® trainer. Through numerous masterclasses and conferences, presentations delivered for the British Association for Psychological Types, as well as certifications in ActionTypes® and Contextual Coaching, Jean-Luc has developed recognised expertise in MBTI®.
He wished to share the expertise he developed through years of practice and experience by publishing his book on MBTI®, "Vous êtes unique, vos interlocuteurs aussi. Collaborer efficacement et vivre en harmonie avec tous les types de personnalité".
Throughout this journey, Jean-Luc has developed two essential areas of expertise in MBTI®:
- Supporting individuals in discovering their true MBTI® profile
- Explaining the strengths and potential challenges in relationships between different MBTI® profiles
Jean-Luc has enriched his MBTI® training with all these contributions and illustrates them with a wide range of everyday examples. He enjoys offering practical and concrete insights in response to questions or challenges, whether the aim is self-understanding or improving team effectiveness.
Jean-Luc’s passion for MBTI® is highly contagious. He regularly delivers "MBTI training in France" including in Paris, Lille, and Metz.
A Certified Process Com® Trainer with a Strong Practical Focus
Jean-Luc Dupont has also been a certified Process Communication® trainer since 2007.
Over the years, he has worked with a wide variety of audiences in France (Paris, Metz, among others) and across Europe, including scientists, leaders, and individuals with limited academic backgrounds. This diversity has allowed him to observe how essential — and sometimes complex — it is to develop a clear and comprehensive understanding of the Process Com® model.
To support learning, Jean-Luc has designed a pedagogical approach that focuses on what truly matters. His objective is to help participants quickly grasp the fundamentals, allowing maximum time for practical application.
He enjoys making Process Com® training simple, engaging, and accessible to everyone.
Thanks to his dual certification in Process Com® and MBTI®, he creates meaningful connections between the two models whenever this helps participants better understand their behaviours or manage everyday professional situations more effectively.
He also regularly delivers "Process Com training in France" including in Paris, Lille, and Metz.
A Training Approach Rooted in Solid Professional Experience
Jean-Luc Dupont, an industrial electronics engineer and sales engineer, has enjoyed a rich career — from employee to director — in the telecommunications and aerospace sectors.
He understands the dynamics of private companies, their constraints, and their challenges. He is fluent in technical, commercial, and financial language — as well as the human dynamics at play within organisations.
Driven by a passion for sharing and development, Jean-Luc founded his own training company, Métamorphoses, over 25 years ago.
This journey led him well beyond MBTI®, exploring Jungian profiles in depth and writing a book on MBTI® applications. His path also led him to establish a leadership training company in Quebec and to deliver training internationally.
Today, he continues to offer his expertise in MBTI®, Process Com®, and management training to clients in France, Belgium, and Luxemburg.
